I thought this might be hard to work with, but it was beautiful and as long as it had a water source it lasted a long time.

I was a bit concerned about the Astilbe. I have had some florist say it turns brown and that they do not like to use it. Ours come in on Friday before the wedding on Saturday. On Friday we made up all the centerpieces and this filler really made the arrangements.

I LOVE astilbe!! The shipment was delayed because of a storm but arrived JUST in time to use the morning of the wedding. Conisdering the fact that the flowers did not have time to wake up they were beyond perfect! Everyone loved them and wanted more in their bouquets.

Can't beat Astilbe for airey filler and the quality of these was tops with strong stems. Their shelf life is only 2-3 days though.
