Crystal White Mini Calla Lily Flower

My wife and I got married after losing our spouses. I lost my wife after 52 years of a wonderful marriage and my wife lost her husband of over 53 years. After we found each other via an online dating service, we got married on 21 December 2013. Since that time, we celebrate each month on our anniversary day. It may not be traditional but to us, it's the world. For our anniversary date in August, I wanted to do something special for my wife. I found the "Donna" peach-colored roses at FiftyFlowers and knew that they would be perfect for my wife, Donna. The roses arrived right on schedule via FedEx and I opened the well-packaged flowers in the garage and put them in a large vase that I bought, filled the vase with water, and took them into the house and gave them to my wife. She was so thrilled at their beauty that she cried. She is not in the best of health and the fifty beautiful "Donna" roses really perked her up. After looking into the cost of a florist for my desired bouquets, I immediately began researching DIY bouquets for the wedding. I knew we could make something beautiful, it would just take a little work and convincing of my mother! After reading several blogs and reviews on various sites, I decided to go with FiftyFlowers. They seemed to have the best bang for the buck: their reviews were great, and the blogs are helpful. This was the BEST decision I could have made. I had a free consultation with Violet. She is fabulous to work with. She looked at my pinterest boards to get a feel for the bouquets and styles that I liked, and she worked with our budget. After pondering over our choices for a few days, we decided to go with the 200 Roses & 300 Carnations Wedding Combo Pack. This option was great because we could choose several colors and a variety of flowers. We selected lavender roses, cream carnations, pink hot stock, seeded eucalyptus, and tree fern from the pack. We also added Yves Piaget, Gerrondo Daisies, and Purpleberry Dahlia Cushion Flowers. Ordering the flowers was so easy, and they assured me if there was anything wrong with our order they would call. One week before the wedding, FiftyFlowers called me: my plum gerrondo daisies were not going to make it. The farm had some difficulties with the crops, but FiftyFlowers assured me that I could get another color: the dark cherry. I agreed. The flowers arrived as scheduled. with some arriving Wednesday and others on Thursday. I panicked a little with the Wednesday roses because they were opening rapidly. But I just kept the water very cold to slow them down, and that seemed to help. Come Friday, the flowers looked gorgeous and were ready to arrange! My mom, mother-in-law, sister, and sister-in-law all helped! We started off slow, but once we knew how we wanted them to look the process sped up. Advice: Don't make the bouquets too tight! My bouquet ended up looking like a cone 2 hours before the rehearsal dinner. Thankfully my sister & sister-in-law rearranged it that night. I could not have been happier! The flowers were gorgeous! Our day was perfect and more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. The flowers truly made our garden wedding a dream come true!

I ordered the smallest bunch as a sample to plan for my event in September. They were beautiful and I plan to order them again.
